About the event

Pilates is a low-impact whole-body exercise method offering a mind-body-connection and designed to establish good posture and healthy movement patterns. Regular Pilates practice strengthens the body, improves mobility and flexibility, can help to manage pain, prevent injury and reduce stress.

Over 10 sessions, you will be learning new and progressive Pilates repertoire which will challenge your core, your mobility and coordination. You will continue to  learn about good posture and alignment of your bones, and how to use your breath to support your movement. During the course you will have access to videos relating to the course program allowing you to practice at home in between sessions and speed up your progress. On completion, you will have gained confidence in moving safely through a range of challenging exercises and improved your strength, balance and coordination.
